Finchampstead
Agricultural land is currently being offered for sale in Finchampstead (sub-divided into plots). The site is East of Warren Lodge and South-West of Nine Mile Ride Primary School with site frontage on Finchampstead Road - its just past the Finchampstead Surgery heading towards Finchampstead Village, on the left, opposite the turning into Warren Lane (click here for map).

Those considering a possible investment for residential purposes might find what Wokingham District Council have stated on their website useful:

"The site is located outside the settlement boundary in an area designated as Countryside and is also within 5km of the Thames Basin Heath Special Protection Area. It was previously considered for inclusion in the current Wokingham District Local Plan for residential development and was rejected as unsuitable (Part 2 of the Inspectors Report - Page 5-146, Paragraph 5.686 refers).

"The site is also affected by a Public Footpath (No15), Archaeological Interests and the UK OP (Petroleum Product) Pipeline bisecting the site both of which are further development constraints.

"Residential development in this location is not acceptable in principle."
