Majors Green (Solihull, Hollywood and Whitlocks End)
Plots are currently being offered for sale in two locations at Majors Green, Worcestershire.

Aliases used at both locations include Solihull, Solihull-Hollywood or Hollywood-Solihull and, more recently, Whitlock's End [sic]. All refer to one or both of the locations outlined below:

Both of these locations fall within Worcestershire, NOT Solihull, with planning control being the responsibility of Bromsgrove District Council. Both of these locations are designated green belt. Bromsgove Council, like most other councils, has set out a local plan which details how land may be released for house building and other purposes over the next few years. The green belt status of neither of the two locations at Majors Green will change.

The Peterbrook Road site falls within the flood plain of the River Cole. You can see the extent of the flood plain at the Environment Agency web site.

The recently completed Meriden to Highters Heath pipeline connects the Birmingham and Solihull conurbation in the west, to Severn Trent's water supply system in the east and this pipeline traverses the Haslucks Green Road site. No building will ever be permitted on any plot traversed by this important piece of infrastructure. Thus, in addition to any other checks, prospective purchasers may wish to conduct their own detailed site survey to verify that their chosen plot is not affected by this restriction.
